This week we visited one of our old hometowns, New York, and wanted to share a few snapshots from our visit. What caught our attention this time were the simple yet stylish entrances to so many townhomes across the upper east side. Think colorful doors, wrought iron gate and fence details and simple wall lanterns. Here are a few we thought were particularly great…

This weekend we visited Shaker Village near Lexington, Kentucky. The pictures sum up how scenic it was much better than words (although a few that come to mind are simple, charming & idyllic). Here are a few snap shots!
